Since the positing is base on student t-score and posting computerise by MOE, so how dose the Bonus point help on SAP selection?

if a SAP school is one of your choices, the MOE computer will auto add your HCL bonus point into the ranking and allocate your choices. if the next choice is non-SAP, MOE computer will ignore your bonus point

My DD t-score 256+3, so my choice will be NGSH, DHS, RGS is this will be the combination or NYG then RGS, DHS which will be the better chance?
for SAP school, your score is 259 (risky for NYGH, DHS may be)

non-SAP, your score is 256 (quite far for RGS)
BUT MOE is base on student t-score, so if there still vacancy during my posting in NYG or RGS then I will have a chance to get a place, right??

My DD scored 246 + HCL merit. Knowing that there is a slight drop in COP we plan to select in below order

- River Valley High (it is a challenge 251)
- Nan Hua High 245
- Crescent 245
- CHIJ Toa Payoh
- St Margaret
- Chung Cheng Main
Pls share your view

The sequence should be according to your preference.
256+3 should get you into a Ip school BASED ON LAST YEAR'S COP...just a matter of which one.
If you prefer RGS, then just hamtam! If misses this year COP, then Moe will move on to your next choice (ny), n then the next. If COP remains same as 2013, then when it reaches your third choice, DHS, you hv 256+3 vs 256...so you get in. Simple

The COP of RV also depends on other factors.
Eg, if the RV (or other IP Schools) CO kids took their eyes off and did not as well, say, many of them scored under 250, then there will be many kids >250 still without a school, which means competition is still high for a place in IP. COP may not drop as what many had assumed.

Juz an example...say say only...but can't rule out such scenario.

Are you on S1 posting or DSA? If S1 posting...the website that you make your school choices will have an option for you to choose Yes or no for 3rd language...
