Normally most sap schools are a bit stressful, than compared to a non sap school. In sap schools, higher Chinese start from p1. Unlike in some non sap schools where higher Chinese can start from p5.
Besides Chinese - in a sap school, the English language proficiency level expected is also high. -

You were there yourself. Stressful or not? I don't think it was that stressful for my girl. She was there for 10yrs.Orange Belt - I have not really \"decided\" to sent my DD to St nicks. Just tot that I m an old girl, chances are very high for my DD to enter St nicks.
anyway, I have joined the alumni. I m just worried that the school will be too stressful for my DD.
Is it really stressful to study in St Nicks. -
How to NOT have stress? It all depends on how we, as parents, try our best to guide and support our children.
And true, my DD has tons of homework, esp now that she’s in P5. But she also has a bunch of great teachers, many many friends and loads of fun in St Nicks. -
Sound really good to study in st nicks. I m now preparing my DD by enrolling her into LCentral@Tiong Bahru. Hope that helps.

Hi i am planning to register my elder gal in Pri1 this year (2014 intake). Have joined alumni 2 years back.
Struggled a little coz we dun stay near sch and quite a slacker too (no enrichment classes etc). wonder if she will fit in.
If work hours permit we plan to drive her to school and arrange for Afterschool care. Any one know if SNG will eventually have an inhouse afterschool care? some pri schools have that. thanks! -

driving her to school is good luck to you. all single lanes leading to the gate. expect lots of jam if u dun go early. how early? that will have to ask those who drives there now. I dun drive but i see the cars jamming in the morning I also headache. -
I haven’t decided whether to drive my DD to school or let her take the school bus. I stay at Sengkang. Think too far for me to drive but at the same time, I think it’s very tiring for my DD to wake up very early in the morning just to take the school bus. I also headache!

Another way is to use Car Park 26 to alight yr girls.
Big carpark for you to stop and walk them to that school gate at car park 26. -
I am also planning to register my gal for 2014 intake, have joined the alumni 3yrs back.
I am staying in Anchorvale, can anyone advise the Sch bus fare and also roughly what time do they pick up for our area?
