Hi isishui & lukeysmummy
Many thanks for sharing. I will agree with isishui as kids may get tired before going to school if they are put in student care… So I guess I will let him take school bus first and see how it goes… If the bus is going to pick him up that early, I will consider the student care then… Once again, thanks… Cheers… -
Hi kwokhs
Thanks so much for your info. If the bus were to fetch my son at 1145Hrs, then that will be fine. I am just worried that if my son has to take an early lunch before taking the bus , he will get hungry before the tea break.
By the way, what time does your son arrive home in the evening? -
Hi Kluvs
I’ve just signed up for my boy… I am not sure how good it will be but I believe it will be beneficial to him in some way… -
Kluvs:
Hi have any parents registered for the Pre-primary 1 hanyu pin yin class organized by the alumni? Am wondering if I should sign up or not and appreciate reviews if your kids have attended it before. Thanks!
Hi Kluvs,
My daughter is currently in P1. She had attended the course which was fairly simple covering the basics and my daughter did have prior classes with Berries which touched on HYPY. She found the course to be easy but I had signed her up for classes so she could also get to mingle with her schoolmates a bit before school commenced.
Hope this info helps. -
Thanks for the feedbacks. Currently my boy is with Berries as well but think will just sign up for it as well to let him adapt to school environment easier...

Hi,
Any mummies staying in bishan point ?
My girl be going to ATS next year.
Poor girl got to follow daddy to school and wait till afternoon for lesson.
I need a place for her grooming. My hubby suggest to take her bath in school etc. I not really keen.
Looking for someone living in the condo, perhaps can use the toilet near the pool. -
Hi winnielml,
Where are you residing? Why not let your girl take school bus? Think it’s a better alternative as compared to making your girl wait the whole morning for the school to commence. By then she may be tired out… -
Hi Kluvs,
I am staying in Tampines. I have no one to look after her doing homewk. My Mum can’t manage her. I am still considering school bus too.
Still a few more months to go before I made my decision.
So this point of time looking for someone residing at Bishan point so if let say she follow the daddy to work at 8 plus, she can bath there rather than in school. -
Hi winnielml,
Why don't u consider putting ur girl at the student care centre (midview city, just beside aitong).. as it would be a better and safer environment for her.

My kid will put on school uniform to proteach. Only during school holiday that she will wear home clothes to proteach. Yes, either my husband or i will fetch her to proteach. They have holiday programme and will not be homework/classwork. Do not worry too much, proteach is a student care and i still believe that it is better then having a maid or taken care by grandparent. They can meet friends and will not be anti-social, keeping them at home most of the time, only TV, mobile game and computer games etc.
Beside sending your children to Proteach, did u enrol her for additional tution class..
Does your kid wear school uniform or home clothes to proteach.. How abt school holiday? did u fetch hike to and from proteachSmurfkitty:
Usually, I will bring her there ard 8.30am. The teacher will give her spelling if she has for the day or next day. She will take bath at home before proteach. I tried with my elder son to have his bath at proteach, he needed to carry lot of stuff, clothing towel etc. very troublesome for the kid. Sometime, they will forget to bring it back. I also tried picking up the clothing the next day for him too. Still find that taking bath at home is the best.
She takes school bus from proteach 11.30am and reach school ard12.05pm.
