Anyone managed to get in via Phase 2C?

Next week, there'll be 2 days of 'no lessons' for the P1-P5 due to PSLE Oral. Looks like it's the same for all schools.
A lot of non-academic activities lined up for the coming weeks, due to teachers busy with PSLE & exam marking. PVs will be recruited to help. 😉
Anyone going to help out in the Teachers' Day lunch on Wed 19 Aug?

Do the kids get lockers? I'm hoping there's no need to lug textbooks to and fro in a huge bag...

This is the thing I hate. Yes, they bring lighter school bags, but most of the time, they forget to bring the books home ! I have since banned my son from putting the main subject books in the locker or under the desk.

Just wondering if there are students doing foundation courses in NYPS?

dear mommies and daddies of NYPS, just pop-by to say hi and also congratulate your boys and girls for performing so well in this year’s National Inter-Primary Schools track and field and National Inter-Primary Schools swimming competitions (held in July).

Hi NYPS parents, aside from the school and Coronation Plaza, where else can we buy the uniform?

Also, does the school require students to wear school socks (ie with school badge) or any plain white socks will do?

Shoes…laced or velcro, or up to us?

As far as I know, only the shop at Coronation Plaza sells uniform & name tags, not even the school sells the uniform.

As for socks, not necessary to wear those with school logo, plain white socks will do.

School shoes can be laced or velcro, velcro is better for younger child... save them the time of tying and tripping...

My daughter wanted to wear laced because she wanted to tie her own shoe laces, but really couldn’t find one her size!! Most laced white shoes are bigger sizes… ‘’

Does anyone know how the children are assigned to different classes each year? I know they usually mix children in P1, that is, you can find both Phase 1, 2A, 2B, and 2C in each class, and that they stay the same class in P2. How do they group children by P3 onwards? My gal is in P1 now.

                        Thanks!
