No need to reheat at all. Still hot. Best invention ever.

I am a night owl... sleep at 3am after watching my fave TV shows on cable. 🙂

I bake tarts and make agar agar in the middle of the night sometimes...
3am watching tv, baking at midnight :yikes: so kids have sumptuous breakfast of tarts?

If I am still awake at that time, I will have migraine when I wake up.

If the stainless steel pot is left inside to cook, there is no need to reheat...food left inside will be hot. In fact, if chicken is cooked for long hours inside, even the meat will fall off the bones...the soup will be rich and meat will be tasteless.

Before you put it in the thermal pot, dun make the porridge too thick coz it will be cake-like after 6hrs. Must be a bit watery. Or before eating, add a bit of hot water. But dun expect same standard as those porridge cooked over slow heat on the stove under your watchful eyes...

No lah, my kids dun eat the tarts... I sleep till 9am so still get 6hrs rest.

Yes, meat will fall off the bones that's why my ma doesn't want to use it to cook her mutton curry. No more texture.

Thermal cooker is useful if you do not want to eat 2 meals outside…after lunch out, I don’t fancy dinner outside as well…so anything home-cooked is definitely very nice…with this cooker, have to boil 30 min to bring out the taste of soup before putting inside.

If meat loses its texture, then just drink soup with rice.

                      Hi Janet,
Do you mind sharing one of your soup recipe pls?
The soup I cooked using thermal pot tasted very clear and \"raw\", even if I boiled for 1 hr before putting into the pot. Not sure what I did wrong. :scratchhead:
