hi...besides the prototype/poster & other barang barang, must provide them the write up or not huh?...just wondering whether they have the time to read at all :?

If the kids dont have the chance to present after all the effort made in searching/choosing/preparing...really wanna  :stompfeet:

Don't be surprised if they don't even look at your projects or ask you for a presentation. During the parents' briefing, the GE officer mentioned that in some interviews they don't bother to look at your projects etc.

aiyo...why the hassle then...very lay chey leh :faint: esp cant find the poster (think i threw already  :scared: )[/quote]Doesn't mean that everyone won't be asked on their projects. Some will still be. So just bring something the kid is confident about and can talk about. After all, it's not difficult to talk about something you created and you're proud about.

Someone mentioned that to be promoted to GEP in secondary school, you need to meet a PSLE score of 250. Other parents do not recall hearing it.

As far as the official MOE statement on their site goes, this is what it says:

After Primary 6, promotion to the next level of gifted education is based on:

          1. performance in the GEP from Primary 4 to 6, including a pass in Social Studies
          2. attitude towards work and the enrichment programme
          3. performance at the PSLE

So which school did you gal took her GAT first? The other one she will be able to \"do\" very fast, and have more time to think of the difficult one she could not work on earlier, therefore benefited. ζε–œζε–œ

Last time heard RI and HCI used to take the same GAT from civil service college, so if the kid apply both the other one automatically know (wonder how they knew) and email to the kid that they will take it from the other school. But this year, am hearing so many duplication.

But isn't that because one got 60 mins to do while the other is only 20 mins. Unless you are telling me that she still got time to check for the 20 min test while she left 5 Q undone for the 60 min one.
