DSA 2011

r2010:
5pm i think. DS's group went in at 5.05pm but his friend who was scheduled to be at 5pm went in at 5.10pm. We did not see any more groups after that. Most of the kids came out smiling so i think it's not that nerve wrecking after all.
All the best to you and Ds... Thanks for the detailed questions... The first session was at 3.30pm .. what time was the last session?
Told DS to choose his best uniform (the one with least stains), comb his hair (something foreign to him, go to school looking like a mad scientist every morning...sigh) and sit up straight during the interview (was glad the nagging works, he said he didnt slouch). It also helped that there was a desk in front of them. -

Thank you for e detailed sharing, hexagon. Looks like all e RI teachers are quite nice. All the best to your DS.
Thanks Paddy Field
. Yes, looks like it. In DS words : \" the interviewers are happy and jolly\" (they were the last group and the teachers were still \"jolly\".. :salute: )

Anybody who has sat for RGS half day selection test on 9 July and received news?
Cheers,

Do you know how many students will be selected for the DSA at NJC and what is the ratio of selection at the camp later

Don't know how many will be selected for the camp. But every year they take in around 90 to 100 students via DSA. Not sure if increase. But cohort size is roughly 200(DSA+PSLE S1 posting). -

You seems to know MY DS well, describing him to the dot! He seems to have sensitive scalp of some sort, no comb is allowed near him! We decided to visit Bibi-Baba during the June school holiday, not to buy the next year's uniform, but to get a new set of his current school uniform, his present set non of which å‡ºå¾—äº†åŽ…å ‚. -

I only know this year application is about 700. From what I last heard from friend from previous year, those called for 2nd round are quite likely to get offer.AJAJ:
