Just curious your DD is so young, what makes you bring her to test for Thyroid? What symptoms she has?

Whenever she eats dairy or others, she will have diarrhea and hives . Is good that your dd only need to avoid seaweed. I think she needs to be gluten free and vegan ๐Ÿ˜ž

                  I also have Graveโ€™s Disease.

I do not have issues with dairy products, fortunately.

My condition is somehow stabilised, can eat seafood once a week.

I still steer clear of seaweed.

                      No special diet.
Just took the medicine daily, advised to avoid seafood (can eat fish) and seaweed.

I think diet is not the most critical factor in stabilizing the condition.
Stress level must be as low as possible.
Your friend should try not worry too much about the condition, trust the doctor's recommendations, take the medicine properly.
Once the condition stabilizes, she might be able to resume eating those foods that are to be avoided previously.
