No pbm.Hi Dharma,
Now I have a better picture. Thank you very much. -
I would like to know, if any IP/Sec schools, no choosing of subjects combi at the end of year 2. Which means in year 3, must take all subjects. All the subjects are the 3 Sciences, History, Geo, English(Lang Arts), Chinese, E Maths and A Maths.
TIA -

That would mean no streaming into Science and Humanities for year 3. I don't know any school doing this. daisyt, may I know your reason for asking this? do you think it is better to go without streaming at Sec 3?I would like to know, if any IP/Sec schools, no choosing of subjects combi at the end of year 2. Do Triple Pure Science is good,
Hi, my girl is thinking of taking triple Science when she goes to year 3. She is seriously thinking very hard because she is not good in Science. However, she feels that being expose to triple Science would give her a better idea if to continue selecting triple Science or not, which Science, when she chooses subjects again in year 5. We have heard how difficult triple Sciences are, morever she is more of a language person.
Any parents can share your story or comments ? Thanks
in the sense that
it open up more available options for u to choose from, later on.
But nowadays, the growing trend is towards ... Double Science classes, in many Secondary schools. -

I wanted her to take triple science when she goes to Year 3, just like my eldest girl.
But she said that she doesn't like Physics, and she just wants to focus on Biology and Chemistry. She pointed out that she doesn't need Physics as she will be taking Math anyway.
My friends have also mentioned this trend of their children opting for a more even mix of Science and Humanities when they go Year 3. I believe it is related to the inter-disciplinary nature of education nowadays. -

We just had this discussion recently too. But… dd and I were playing the reverse roles.. I had advised her to take double sci so that she has more time for her CCA and other enrichments, but she said most of her schoolmates and friends would be taking triple science and she was keen to be exposed to more science stuffs.
