Hi Sotongmummy,Sotongmummy,
Abt the self study of subject- Geog, the teacher will go through with the class. Teacher perhaps wants to cultivate independent learning.

Did u mgt to confirm with yr daughter abt the 2 Geog topics that they are supposed to Self-Study for the coming CA2 ?

My gal told me her geo teacher say self-learning for Chapter 4, 5 n 6. I think basically map-reading . Not sure if itz her class only. Have been too bz back home so no chance to call sch yet. Think itz gd idea for them to do some self-study on simple topics instead of spoon-feeding. -

To self -study these topics still not easy for Sec 1 newbies. Need lots of discipline. Yr daughter's class must be very independent n intellectual.
My girl's class to self study only Chpt 6. Guess her Geog teacher no confidence in this class to do their own self study, in case they stray.
Tks. -
Sorry to crash in on the thread.
Any idea when the girls will move back to the original campus?
Seems like it's almost ready (from what I can see on the outside). -

Her class is not the top 2 class. Geo teacher is only a relief teacher, probably datz y so relax lor. Hopefully, they get a perm geo teacher nxt semester. The last class test, i think like more than 1/2 the class failed. :slapshead: -
