Yes, its by choice. See if someone has put choices A, B and C and they get offered A and C, then the offer that will be reflected will be A and not both. Though, if you ask me, they should put all the offers on the table and allow the child to choose what they want. Because you just rank choices, what if both your choices are equally important?

In your case, if your child prefers the third choice, then it's quite possible that if he or she does well in their aptitude tests and interviews for the first two choices, they will be offered one of those. Also, we won't even know if they were even offered the third choice.

There is no such thing as “equally important”. If they offer you both choices, you still have to pick one right? So, one is still more important than the other.

That’s true! But what if you are equally interested in more than one course. You have to then choose one over the others to rank first. And if you happen to be successful in all your choices, then you won’t even know that.

But with everything else in life, this is also about choices. Sometimes we just have to force a choice and live with it.

I agree that student shld be given more than 1 offer (if any) to choose instead of offering by choices submitted. Just like my child, cannot make up his mind which choices to put till after submission then realise what he wants

Yes it is possible to get more than 1 interview but you will ultimately only get 1 offer.

Anyone has gotten selection test from SP? Anyone knows what is involved as in the scope? I only know that it is a 45 min written test.

Question for those who received email from SP - can you share which course your child received email for?

                  Thanks
