DS decided on Aviation Mgmt & Services!
He gets agitated when I asked him to think carefully.

What will be his future like???

Is there an advantage if they go straight to Lasalle / NAFA vs they go to Poly / JC first?
A friend of mine told me if you go straight it is better because the students don’t need as much time to adjust to the culture of the school because it is different from the typical Singapore education system. True? Anyone have any experience? -
Does LAsalle/ NAFA allow o-level students directly ?

Does LAsalle/ NAFA allow o-level students directly ?
Yes they do. But depending on the disciplines applied, students may have to go for interviews, show portfolio and/or audition. -

Typically, the academic routes for LS/NAFA students are:
After O level => 3 years diploma
After O level => 3 years diploma + 2 years degree (with Lasalle or NAFA's partner universities for the respective disciplines)
After poly/A levels => 1st year foundation course + 2 years degree (with Lasalle or NAFA's partner universities for the respective disciplines)
Learning style in these arts school is very hands-on and students are expected to be self-motivated, disciplined and independent. Students need to pace themselves in order to complete all their projects and assignments.
