All school COP drop not just HCI. and not that it is not popular. I think pp do put into consideration the school fee of IP school. Why pay and pay...

You can call the MOE hotline : 68722220 & they will tell you the COP. I called up NJC this morning asking if I can appeal for my son if he did not choose the school at all & the lady staff there was very very unfriendly. :x She said she doesn't see any reason why i should appeal if NJC is not in the 6 choices at all. Worst, after hearing my son's agg. 257, she said the COP this year is above 257, bull shit. Simply asking you to give up. The school doesn't know the COP yet cos' when I called up Dunman High, the friendly staff told me they do not know the COP yet most probably in the afternoon. I will appeal for DHS instead.:

i got my sms at 6.07am, my son mark 241 got to 1st choice Temasek sec. Our preferred was Victoria which was our second choice, we just call victoria school the lady who was friendly and not abrupt told us that the cop is 245 i think 1 point lower then last year.. :celebrate:

Hi Everyone, sorry to keep you waiting. Have updated the COP in the first post. Please let me know if there are any wrong figures by providing me with the relevant quote, thanks, trying my best to keep it as accurate as possible as the COPs come in.

My son got into TKSS (1st choice) with 245.
Was in a dilemma to put Victoria as 1st choice, but he decided against it as he would be in the lower cohort and no chess club , so also put VS as 2nd choice.
Also so impressed by the enthusiasm of TKSS staff and students.
TKSS got chess club.

Tks. We have actually appealed for HCI last week cos' at first in a dilemma whether to put my son in IP. After her tuition teacher shared with me about the IP (her DD attending NJC sec 1 this yr). I regretted not chooing IP schools for my son. Regret..regrets.. :x I will also appeal to DHS which is also not in our choice. Guess I am the only few parents so stupid not to have selected the schs carefully. My DS agg 257+2 & we chose VS as 1st choice. It's also a good sch but now I prefers my DS to take IP. Just pray hard they will not put us as last priority for not choosing their schools.

pinky88, all is not lost.
Quickly go file in your appeals.
Yr DS can try for VS IP at end of year 2.
If have good results for Sec 1 & 2, he can also try for other IP schools.

My friend's son score of 232 couldn't get into his 1st choice maris stella high even though cop is 231 when she called the school. Very puzzled, :? now she is calling up sch to find out the reason.
