          Hi,

anyone discuss the cost yet? I do it only once a year to keep my hair neat and cost me $180 for sitting 4 hrs in the salon few days back (no colouring just rebonding with hair care conditioner after that). May be it is CNY period, but the salon said only added $5 lah. Is this price normal? I tried at a salon at shopping mall before and it cost about the same leh. But I felt that this HDB shop gave a better quality work as my hair is softer and not so dry. I know some shops offer cheaper price but not sure if it is due to the type of chemical used. Also, I know some like to quote low price to attract you to go in, sit down already then start to \"add on\" like treatment, hair care etc, so may add up to be about the same. Oh btw, mine is long hair just after shoulder.

Anyone care to share your cost for your rebonding? hope I am not being \"ge tok\" :stupid:

Btw, My husband always like to ask me how much it cost when he saw a change in my hair style, but I am not sure if he can take it (he got high blood) if I reveal the cost, so I said $18 only lah and we just laughed off together. He knew I was lying and anyway he can always find out from his female colleague.

PS. actually I was hesitating whether we should discuss the cost here... cos I think a lot of men may fall off their chair if they come to know that the straight hair cost so much...but it can last 8-12 months, quite \"worth it\" right. An Wei Self consolation myself. hee hee.

            Hi,

No idea about market price now as I will going only on tomorrow…

I always go to the same Saloon as feel comfortable with staff there, in a HDB shop. It cost about $100. (included those what hair treatment lotion & haircut)… Mine is about shoulder length…

            Shopping Mall ususally cost more…

I just did my rebonding last friday at kimage, cost $300, plus treatment. Usually do it once a year.

Ask them y their service so expensive, as my friends can get $100++ elsewhere, they said that the products r different, if I want $100++ they also have, but yi fen qian yi fen huo. Quite true, as mine can last 1 year while my friends’ abt 6-8 mths the most.

At the hair salon that I went, I saw a kid as young as 10 years old. Very tempted to do it on my dd hair.

Mine is not that costly, $120. Doesn’t matter the length or any festive season. Price remains the same.

Quality wise, definitely better than some hair salon that charges me $300++. Been with them for quite a number of years. It is lasting too.
