      - in worst case, reverse Ops has higher success rate for guys, compared to ladies

      Not reversible

No surgeon will promise you OP is reversible.
Like ligation, there are a few ways for incision to proceed.

More importantly, someone undergoing vas, goes in with the mindset of no u-turn.

        Precisely.

Hence, anyone who's considering the procedure better don't harbour hope about reversing. It's not reversible. My 2cts

I know that vasectomy is non-reversible and thus SAFE…the urologist mentioned that if there is a change of mind, still possible to collect sperm and do IVF…but if decide to take this step, I hope there will be no regrets.

My hubby consulted a urologist in private practice after comparing the different methods of vasectomy. Basically if you choose the public hospitals, the surgery method they use will result in a longer recovery time, and more pain. But private specialists use a different method with very small incision, and fast healing time. But it also costs much more.

Anyway, vasectomies ARE reversible. But reversals are extremely expensive, and no guarantee that fertility will be restored.

If going to public hospitals, urologists will ask questions to make sure you know what you're going for...bcos this is a non-reversible action...fertility is non guaranteed. Also the nurse who attends to you will ask questions like why you want to go for this op.

If it's confirmed you want to stop having more kids, and hubby is willing to go for it, why not ? Birth control methods not completely safe...pills have side effects. Do bear in mind that this is not reversible.
