I think the chief course of problems is money!
Money no enough - wife will complain
Money good - husband sometimes end up doing naughty things outside
Sigh… money is indeed often the cause of evil. I seen enough of those sad threads to determine this.

RE: Removal of Skin Tags
Just go national skin center. They do it at cheaper rate if you got recommended through the polyclinic.

RE: Pest control agencies
Ewww do you guys really have a serious roach problem? Is it old hdb with individual rubbish chutes? Actually even the shared chutes have many roaches but I thought they don’t really get into the home?

RE: washing machine?
Do you guys use warm water wash or cold? I read that anything other than cold water setting will increase the power consumption by a lot!

RE: All About Life Without Maids
For house cleaning… I use the iRobot Roomba robot vacuum. It works really well as long as you manage it a little. After it’s done cleaning the whole house (small one la) in about 90 mins… I will mop the floor. Tempted to get the mopping robot but I doubt those work as well as the dry version. Mopping takes another 20mins, I guess.
I must recommend the Roomba… it vacuums really well! -
RE: All About CCTV/spy camera for monitoring maids
Wow! 8 cams! When I was living in China, I merely had 3 cams. But then again, my Chinese maid was probably more reliable. Ha!

RE: Scam (Time Sharing etc...) Companies Active Again-Be Careful
I remember the time I got lured into one of these traps. The girl was pretty too. I think that’s part of the ploy. Maybe handsome guy for the ladies. Real !@$!@$~ I hope those bosses of these scam companies go to jail.
Thankfully I had enough sense not to buy anything that day. Lots of sales tactics. The manager would even scold the girl loudly and she would act sad and all that. GRRR -
RE: How much is enough for retirement in Singapore?
I voted $1-2 million. I think that’s about right. One could use more money but not spending excessively should allow that amount to be workable.

RE: Fixed Deposit Promotion
Anyone ever heard of this guy called Jeffrey Yang? I can’t find out much about him but a friend has invested money in his MXR or money exchange or something like that.
It apparently pays interest of 1.5% per month. That’s like 18% annually! How can any investment pay that much? Is this a scam like ponzi?
