Will there be a chat-group created for parents who enrolled to rgps successfully?

You join your own P1 class whatsapp chat group,

      only after

      1) you have received an official letter from Rgps , informing parents which P1 class your daughter has been assigned to, in the 2022 P1 intake (born 2015). Wait patiently, for your official letter to arrive.

      And

      2) after the P1 Orientation date.

Due to the bad covid situation, P1 orientation is most likely conducted virtual online,

      because

school discouraged all current 2021 (P1 to P6) parents to enter our Rgps school premises compound ,
unless on urgent, critical valid reasons ground,

after you have met up with rest of the remaining 29 parents, coming from the same identical P1 class, as your daughter.

      Each P1 class : 30 students (girls)

And when would that be ballpark?

As previously mentioned, for this year...all the previous phases the day they will update the numbers, they will also update balloting distance. For Phase 2C, previous years are the same as well. For example in 2020 they also update the numbers and balloting distance on the day the same day.

Ok thanks may have missed that. Just that Previous years can’t be used as yardstick since if so we would have day 3 info!

Previous years Day 3 info also not updated on Day 3. Last year enrolment period for Phase 2C happen to be on 3 to 5 Aug as well and the numbers for Day 3 were not provided on 5 Aug as well. It was provided on 12 Aug together with the balloting status.

Regarding previous years can't be used as yardstick...last year is the first year it all went online, I'm not sure how it works in the years before. As such, I mentioned that for this year in the previous phases, it is the same...no updates on numbers on final day of application, numbers and balloting status will be updated on the date stated on the MOE website and results announced on another date if your application requires balloting.[/quote]Yes and no. if u look at the blog post date of schoolingsg. U can see 5 Aug last year they provided full number of applicants. Albeit with no status of balloting required. But yes the information we discussed shall be provided Tom.

Read in KSP, some schools did. Like SJIJ.
Actually yesterday when I called both, they were on the same page too but in another way.
RGPS say they don't have the data need to call MOE as MOE doing the reconciliation. MOE say they don't have the data but you may call the school of your choice but they not sure if the school will disclose.

But in any case cold also understand why the person picking up the call does not want to disclose, especially last year and this quite a few people get haul up under the Official Secrets Act. If I'm working there, I also might not want to disclose thinking it's alright, but in the end for some unknown reasons getting into trouble.

Another 2 more days. But actually did moe say what they are disclosing on 12? Maybe just raw applicants. Don’t know got distant breakdown/balloting distance or not.

In my own simple mind. The lack of disclosure on day 3 is causing a lot of people to think day 2 numbers are final. Same things with my work colleagues. Some thought day 2 numbers = close shop….

2C submission ended, 20/61 chance, wish everyone good luck

That is the highest APP (Applicants / Vacancy Ratio) I've seen for SNGS in 2C for a long time, bearing in mind 61 might not be the final figure.

Why are people taking day 2 numbers as the final number. Or is there something I’m missing?

Does anyone know if they will reveal the final number of applicants before 12th Aug?
Actually they should right? If reason being don’t want to mislead into wrong action. Now rice has been cooked. No action to take?
