Personally speaking, I would prefer the print edition textbooks, but they can get real heavy to carry around. I'm old school, I guess... Does the school give an option? I'm surprised. I thought most schools have gone the way of digital copies.
Yes. My dd prefer printed copies as she can write her notes on it, plus they do have a locker each. This year, they only get their pld in term 3 for sec 1. Plus the rules are such that they can only use pld when teacher get them to. So maybe digital copies for home use. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

Hi parents. Is it necessary to buy all the books on the booklist? My DD said teachers hardly use textbooks especially for math and science coz teachers will give out their own materials.
Yes. They never use the maths textbooks ans science textbook at all, notes are given. At least my ds refer to the science textbooks (for 4 yrs) when he wants read up more details. I remember that they also didn't touch the literature text too (at least for my ds case). šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

Nope. Just found out that my son\"s classmate who scored AL6 is also accepted into ispark. It is not by DSA either.
It is not specifically by score. But certain profile which I guess are for those good in maths or science since those dsa maths and science are in isparks. Ispark science and maths are slightly different from other consortiums.

Due to COVID, the boys were allowed to wear PE t-shirt every day. Will there be any changes in 2023?
