WL conversion will only be known on PSLE result day. If more than one WL successfully converted, just depends on which one you rank first when submitting your choices.

This is a big loop hole. Those who got CO and already accepted ones can't change another school But for those got only WL, conver to CO only upon release of PSLE, can choose whether to accept CO or apply another school using PSLE result. So what if a student got CO from school A but not his dream school, he can use PSLE result to go for his better ones, while retain CO from school A as spare tire. So is not fair for those who got CO and accepted straight away.

This is incorrect.

If WL has been converted to CO, your child will NOT be able to use his PSLE result to select another school. He CANNOT participate Sec one posting exercise. Pls refer to MOE website for details.

Phtthp, this will not happen. if the child has more than one CO/WL, she/he will have to decide the priority of preference.
Assume the child ( assume he )got 1 CO for school A and WL for school B and C.

If his preference is A , great, during DSA exercise, he will just have to indicate his selection for school A. No need to indicate anything for B and C since he got CO for schoolA; confirm will get into school A.

If his preference is B, follow by A then C, then just indicate his selection as B , follow by A .In this case, if his WL for B is not converted to CO, he will get into A... No need to select C during DSA exercise.
If his preference is B, C follow by A, then during DSA exercise, indicate his preference as such accordingly . If both B and C does not convert his WL to CO, then he will automatically get into A.

If he is not keen in A, despite getting a CO, he has to make sure he did not indicate A as his selection !

Release will be released together with PSLE result slip.

And is conversion from WL to CO : take place Before sit for PSLE, or After PSLE T-score results come out ?

The day when the child goes back to school for thee PSLE result slip, he/she will know if W has been converted to CO.

What is the difference btn WL1 and WL2? :shock:

Just priority-setting... Those in WL1 will have higher chance to be converted to CO, as compared to WL2.

Not necessary as WL maybe converted to CO when PSLE result is released. Nevertheless, it is good to study hard for PSLE

DSA-SEC exercise is centralized via MOE. The sec school will decide if WL can be converted to CO.

Definitely not parents ! Definitely not auto conversion.
As far as I know, when a school offers CO to a number of students, not all will accept. Hence, for those who do not accept, they will leave vacancy for those queuing in the WLs. The school will prioritize those in WLs, and WL will convert to COs, according to this priority n no of vacancies available.
