My parents are getting older and one of them has developed more prominent veins with occasional leg discomfort. At what point should we consider seeing a specialist?

I recently found out that I’m pregnant and have been reading about medical abortion. I’m feeling quite overwhelmed and would like to hear from anyone who has been through it.
