Please help for this question:
James and Bernard each had some sweets. If James gave Bernard 128 sweets, James would have 224 sweets more than Bernard. How many sweets must James give to Bernard so that Bernard would have 50 sweets more than James?
Our working:
224 + 128 + 128 = 480
James have 480 sweets more than Bernard.
How do we proceed from here?
The answer was provided but do not understand why is it done this way.
Thanks in advance!

RE: Woman shown grabbing at Kinetic Rain installation at Changi

Kinetic Rain is my gal's favorite display at the airport and she was so angry when I told her about this incident...
Curious...
if she is proven to be mentally unstable, does it mean that she will not be charged or she will be given a lighter sentencing?
From the article, she came to Singapore alone. And she performed this \"stunt\" right before her flight departure. Is it an intentional move to prolong her stay?
Strange that \"they\" always acted \"strangely\" before their departure. Remember the one who hijacked the cab at Budget Terminal and killed the poor innocent cleaning supervisor... sigh!
Always wonder for all these cases, how will they be sent back? using our taxpayers' $? -
RE: When secular laws & religions views conflate - FCBC case.
insider:
Totally agree!
I am imagining my teacher having affairs with a married father of kids in my school.
After counselling, she agrees to split but she continues to see the father. I specifically pointed out to her that her behaviour is under serious misconduct as stated in our contract (presumably I specifically drafted in a clause that states if having affair with a married father or grandfather = serious misconduct = immediate termination without compensation regardless of pregnant or not).
Then, the father wants to divorce the wife (imagining here a very nice SAHM) and leaves his kids coz she gets herself pregnant.
Even out of goodwill, I cant pay her (here it's never about the money) coz by paying her, I am supporting such behaviour and 对不起 the nice wife and her kids under my care.
Giving = sins in another way of looking at the matter. -
RE: Child with double tooth
Hi. I can share with you my experience. Had the same experience with my gal who is turning seven this year. Her two front milk teeth were still firmly intact when one adult teeth were secretly growing behind. We brought her to the school dental nurse who gave us 2 options, to manually wiggle the milk teeth frequently hoping that they would loosen soon or to extract the 2 milk teeth immediately. We opted for the latter. After the extraction, we told her to always use her tongue to 'push' out the adult teeth so that they will align with the rest.
Here's a website i find quite useful in explaining the situation.

Sorry, I have no child-friendly dentist to recommend. We usually go to HPB dental which has long queue for appointments.
Hope this helps.
