      A muffin shop sold durian muffins at $3.20 each and banana muffins at $1.20 each. Daisy bought some durian muffins and Betty bought some banana muffins from the muffin shop. Daisy spend $6.80 more than Betty.

      a) How many durian muffins did Daisy buy?
      b) How much did Betty spend on banana muffins?
      More is spent on durian muffins ($3.20) than banana muffins ($1.20).
      You can try to get to a multiple of $3.20 whose value ends with a '.80'. That will be 4 durian muffins. Total $12.80.
      Minus $6 (5 x $1.20) to get $6.80.
      a) Daisy bought 4 durians muffins.
      b) Betty spent $6 on banana muffins.

      Hi everyone

      Can help solve this problem sum?

      Wei had 60 beads more than Kerry. After Wei gave 65 beads to Kerry, Kerry had 6 times as much as Wei. How much did they have altogether?

      Thank you!
      http://i63.tinypic.com/2e211ky.jpg\">
      5u = 60+5+5
      u = 14 beads

      Total number of beads has not changed.

      Total beads -> 7u
      Altogether, they have 7x14=98 beads.

      Need some guide. Is this question to find lCM? http://i64.tinypic.com/2v31012.jpg\"> or do I do the listing method to get age :33?

      The most straightforward and easiest way is to list them out.

      Here's an alternative.
