Thanks for sharing. Ds got A1 for E math and A2 for E math. Got him last minute tutor for A Math. Tutor was a god send but she does not teach A level.

Any tutor to recommend around AMK for H2 Math and Chem? 1 on 1 and can teach concepts. Can pm me?

My DS is in JC2 at VJC. His COP was 5 when he enrolled in 2015. He had to retake Math & Chem 2 weeks ago. He failed Math 2nd time and now the school wants him to drop 1 subject to H1. Is this a normal practice? He takes Bio, Chem, Math & Econs (contrasting subject) at H2 and GP.


My logical thinking was for him to drop Econs to H1 but the teacher had advised that the not much contents reduction if drop Econs. DS has always been inclined to Science & Math and I am not sure if dropping any of the Sc & Math to H1 will affect his uni application chances? Any advice?

My dd got in RGS through DSA. For 3rd language, is Malay Special program taught in school?

My ds was allocated MSP in the beginning but then we decided to switch to Jap as he has Malay lessons in school… perhaps picking up Malay would be easier as it is still taught in ‘abc’.

My ds is taking Japanese at Bishan moelc - depite encouragement from us, I do not think he is going to make it , anyone out there with ideas to help them cope? Such a pity to give up - but no point to continue if he has no interest…
