    • RE: hypogonadism concern

My husband had similar symptoms, including fatigue and reduced muscle strength, possibly linked to his sedentary lifestyle and weight. Dr Tan at Dr Tan Medical Center arranged blood tests to check his testosterone levels before discussing what kind of treatment. For Testosterone Deficiency, treatment may include testosterone replacement therapy and lifestyle changes. If you’re exploring Hypogonadism treatment Singapore, start with a proper medical assessment.

    • RE: Digestive

For me, the bowel preparation was more uncomfortable than the colonoscopy itself because I had to take the prescribed laxative and make frequent trips to the toilet. I had mine with Dr Kieron Lim, a Recommended colonoscopy specialist in Mount Elizabeth. My advice is to follow the preparation instructions closely and stay near a toilet.

    • RE: Obesity

Hi OP, I’ll share my experience too. I was 107 kg last year and struggled to lose weight despite making changes to my routine. I consulted Dr Shanker at a Bariatric Clinic in Singapore and discussed GLP-1 treatment before eventually undergoing endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESG). The procedure reduces the stomach’s capacity using an endoscope passed through the mouth, without external incisions. My care also involved medical assessment and follow-ups to monitor progress. It’s worth discussing the available options with a doctor to see what suits your health needs.

    • RE: Obese

My mum had obesity and was advised to consider surgery because her weight was affecting her health and she was at higher risk of developing diabetes. We consulted Dr Shanker, a Bariatric Surgeon in Singapore, and he recommended surgery based on her condition. She had a sleeve gastrectomy, which helped with significant weight loss and managing her weight better.

    • Sinus surgery

I may need sinus surgery and wanted to ask what the usual recovery is like. How long does it usually take to return to normal activities?

    • RE: Thyroid concern

My sister had a physical exam, blood test, thyroid ultrasound and thyroid biopsy done for her thyroid lump. We had these checked at a Thyroid Clinic in Singapore with Dr Luke Tan, and we’re now waiting for the results to know what the next step will be.

    • RE: Health

Yes, mine kept happening from the same nostril, so I went to Dr Lau Chee Chong to find out what was causing it. He examined inside my nose to locate the bleeding area and checked for possible causes. He also explained treatment options such as nasal sprays, cauterisation or packing if needed. I had the consultation at the Best ENT clinic in Singapore, and it gave me a better idea of what could be done for recurring nosebleeds.
