My DD successfully DSA to RGS via EL last year so I can confirm that there’s no interview questions asked , other than the analysis of the literary text .

Commitment of EL DSA kids is not significant . Some of those that I can remember are :
1) student just need to attend cca trial for a EL related cca (ie drama or debate). Need not necessarily select either of these 2 in the final CCA selection
2) take part in some EL related competitions eg Queen’s Commonwealth competition
3) attend some workshop organised by the school (frequency is like 1-2 1hr workshop in a term)

As for RI , EL DSA students totally has no commitments . Although they’re invited to join the EL talent programme Marco Polo held after school every thurs (but still need to go thru the selection trial though), this programme is not compulsory .[/quote]
