    • RE: NUS law prof in CPIB probe over exchanging grades for sex

      phtthp:

Those girls aged 20s like dk or this latest news civil servant (mha) woman are attracted to him. Maybe they're wow by the fact that he was a judge before. Some ladies think proudly, \"hey I am dating a judge, u know, not an ordinary lawyer ... \"
Ya, there seems to be a tendency for the weak and non-independent to use referral power. It affects all levels.....even at work, at the gym, in social clubs, car clubs, in any society or organisation, we see many people (especially newbies) trying to affiliate themselves with the more popular ones there.

There is a term for it: \"sar-kah\".

As a former district judge, he may jailed some people. Now if he gets thrown in himself, he may come face to face with them.

Wahhhh…they sure plan a nice welcome party for him inside one!

    • RE: wow, exercise - a great way to start the day

      sleepy:
      My exercise regime:

      Zumba fitness (1 hour) - 2x a week
      Circuit training in gym (1 hour 15 mins) - 3x to 5x a week
      Rumba box & Salsa dances (1.5 hour) - 1x
      Kickboxing & abt (2 hours) - 1x
      Hi,

What is the circuit training like, please? Is it like the traditional method where you rush from one station to another to work different body parts without rest in between?

75 mins of circuit training sounds frightening!!

    • RE: learning taiji quan

      Hello!

If you live in the east, there are some free taiji lessons on the beach on weekend mornings, around where the old MacDonald’s was. Maybe nice to try out to see the suitability. Most CCs have taiji at affordable rates too.

Or if he prefers one-to-one training, I can introduce you to a lady friend who teaches - I can’t remember how much she charges, but I remember that her rates were quite reasonable. This friend is a very charitable person and wouldn’t mind talking over the phone first, without any pressure to commit anyone.

Lastly…er…I’m not sure if taiji really does lower blood pressure. I know there are lots of claims especially where something as mystical as internal energy is concerned, but I tend to lean more towards the scientific side.

those 7 big sized men keep surround & protecting C -
are they from CPIB, since they're Not bouncers nor professional bodyguard ?
Most likely they're from some bodyguard company employed to provide a barrier between her and the reporters, so that she won't be blocked/stopped.

From their slow walking speed and close formation, it doesn't look like they're trying to protect her from any kind of physical assault.

I can’t imagine how nervous the women involved in SCDF case must be now. It must be playing again and again in their minds if they’ve accidentally left any sms or other types of evidence, etc.

I know how it feels like - no appetite, tired by can’t sleep, can’t smile naturally, thinking of alternative ways out, finding that distractions don’t help much with stress relief, adrenaline flowing all the time, mood swings, self-blame, etc.

They just spent days figuring out who truthful or not. Too many discrepancies, too little time and people.

Actions speak louder than words. Just order them to re-enact each scene in question, and get public opinion lah…
