RE: Happy Call Korean Frying Pan
superbmothers:
thank you!. :slapshead: i thought that i has not paid for the pan when i didnt confirm on the paypal website.. but it seems that i had confirmed on the transaction on G-market.Hi Starry Dust,
My friend is using the http://list.gmarket.com.sg/g/404162282/200003223, it is the lightest class of all double sided flip pan. PN Multicook Pan is coated with http://www.metcoat.com/xylan-coatings.htm, it is slightly better than Telfon in term of heat resistant and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wok
Therefore if you really want to buy an eating safe pan, get the stainless steel type, or ceramic type, http://list.gmarket.com.sg/g/404162282/200003223 is make of carbon, just that it may not have the property like happycall that features a one touch magnetic lock and reduce odour. Other features of http://list.gmarket.com.sg/g/404162282/200003223 seem tempting, grills thread, more abrasion resistant, upper and lower pan is detachable (If you take out the c ring of happycall, you can turn it to 2 pans)
Cheers
is anybody famailiar wiht G-market? can advise me? i paid using paypal and i have just cancelled the purchase. how will they refund me? -
RE: Happy Call Korean Frying Pan
hi all, anyone heard of POONG NYUN Multicook? i intend to buy one that is detachable. seems that in G-market, this is the only one. I cant find any review on it though. cant decide if this is good and safe…

I asked the cashier, and they said its their system. I am NEVER going to eat there again. -
RE: How to toilet train children
i started my boy for toilet training since a year ago.. in fact tried a few times, but always not successful.
finally, decided.. enough is enough, almost 3 and still wearing diapers. so i start to \"brain-wash\" him
Told him he is a big boy already, asked if his other friends in the childcare centres wear diapers.. etc... all the questions i know that will point to him as \"different\" cos he is till wearing a diaper..
and suddenly on the day itself, he will go to toilet himself.. :celebrate:
then within the next 3 days, even in school, when we go to market, we have no problems.. no diapers needed at all.....
HAHA.. think we just have to wait till he is comfortable and then psycho a bit
But he still cannot poo poo without diapers, 3 days without going :?:
any \"tricks\" to help him? -
RE: any parent pick up formal music when 'old'
oh.. i started it when i was like 23.. then stopped now cos pregnant twice, stopped twice.. and everything has to start again...
I am not sure if i will pick it up again when the kids are older or when i retire.... hopefully, by that time, my hands are still nimble.

RE: what bag is mummy carrying for day to day use?
hquek:
Omega is a good brand. They carry stuff in boy sizes too. Also, I like the warranty. once I brought it in for checking when it stopped, and they replaced the battery (mine is quartz) for free! i think my omega seamaster cost less than 2K - but it's stainless steel and mechanical (so cheaper).
Some uncle gave my hubby a very very old Omega...it's probably 30-40 y/o - still going strong. But be warned, exp watches also cost a lot to maintain - so do think about the cost for servicing. And that's the primary reason why we stopped at 2.
For other boy sizes (saw that being mentioned), IWC has nice ones too.
Those who are not pantang about 2nd hand watches can go to http://www.passionasia.com (cannot remember if got sg or not). Their showroom is at Funan.
I personally wish for a Patek Philippe for their ability to retain value....but that will take many many long years.
thanks ... was thinking about this too...
talking about 2nd hand watches...heard from 2nd hand dealers that the best buy will be 2nd hand, 1st hand owners tend to 'lose' a lot..
true? -
