      Atan:
You are right, indeed it is a concern  I think for us, we need to make sure šŸ™ that our sons do well at the PSLE (since no affiliation) and start working on DS's strenght for possible DSA. In P1, I had also heard fm one parent that some NYPS parents, esp those with kids of average results, would transfer their sons after P3 to other schools with affiliation.

transferring theirs sons after P3 to other schools with affiliation ---> that's a little drastic isn't it? i don't think i will subject my son to that. just hoping that he gets into a \"decent\" secondary school.

by the way, does anyone know which are the common secondary schools do the boys from NYPS go to?

on a separate topic. my son finally got his time-table. he's doing PE 3 times a week - which in my opinion, is more palatable then the original 5 times a week.

i tend to agree with what has been said about NYPS. its been a relatively good journey so far with my boy in P3 this year.

with reference to the affiliation, as i have no girls in the family, my concerns are genuine. i am concerned what happens to my boys after their PSLE. with affiliation, the girls stand a "better" chance of getting into NYGS but what about the boys? any chance of NYGS accepting boys soon? else, does anyone know where the boys of NYPS end up after their PSLEs?

Hi … anyone knows if there is an affiliated Secondary School for the boys in NYPS? Naturally the Girls have NYGH as a choice. What about the boys? Where do the boys from NYPS go for their Secondary education?
