My brother has been jobless for more than half a year. My sis in law is not helping in anyway except giving him some more problems. He vents his problems on his friends and family. Calling us stupid, moron, idiot for no reason. He has become so withdrawn that I’m afraid that either they are heading for divorce or maybe worse things might happen. Can anyone offer some advice? South View is a good school. My student gave the school thumbs up! However their exams papers are hard, need to work harder to achieve. By the way, any parents can share P6 Maths papers for south view primary school (2010-2012)? My student will be P6 next year. Thanks in advance!

What are the things parents look out for when sourcing private tutors for their children?

I mean, I understand that experience and rates of the tutors are two major considerations. However, are there other factors?

Also, how do you source for tutors? Word-of-mouth, newspaper, prior experience or online websites?

We go for word of mouth, trusted agencies which our friends use and we favor tutors with own teaching materials. I prefer tutors older than 30 also cos they are usually more committed and more mature.
