Oh dear š If pet ear is not clipped and wanders outdoors, I think really need to go to dr. But SG been rabies-free for decades so I think no need to overthink much. Can ask too if bite was deep?
Yes, was schoked too coz I never had vaxxed before. If person got vaxxed already, can only get 2 jabs but since this is my daughter's 1st time, needs to get atleast 3. Dr said if kitten dies within next 3 days, will have to get 3 more but if not, will only need 2 more. Kitten is already isolated and under observation but as of now, still healthy ya. Need prayers š -

RE: Are Singapore students too stressed out?

I think this is how parenting should be. We, as parents, should stop putting pressure on our kids academically. We should understand that kids have their own talents and should stop comparing their kids to other kids. Kids learn at a pace commensurate with their abilities and WE, PARENTS, SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT! If your kids is struggling to write/read, try to understand the reason why so you can come up with a solution on how to help your kid. You can't always blame it on the teacher lol
My kid also went to myfirstskool. Agree that they really organize fun competitions and other activities which is really helpful. They hav amazing teachers and everything...but I still constantly remind my kid that as long as he do his best, no matter the outcome, I am still proud of him. And that if he is stressed, i and hubby are always here for him.
Not really bashing or what but if you were already aware that your child was not feeling her best (regardless if she still wants to go to class or not), have you tried finding out the reason why? There could be an underlying problem as to why she's feeling that way. I understand that maybe she is really happy at school (my child also goes to MFS btw, such an awesome school) so you didn't bother asking but maybe, try chatting with her about it? Who knows, it could help you both bring out her best potential.
It's also sad how some parents push their children to continue their dreams/careerpath. Like...LET THEM CHOOSE AND LIVE THEIR OWN LIVES! We are only here to guide them and be supportive! -
RE: Daughter hates needles
Can give her candy or a gum before the jab so she can chew on it. Will help her divert attention. Can request for a bed too so she take the jab lying down. They will allow it especially if they notice how nervous/scared your daughter is!

Can you share which store exactly did you buy your dress? I need a semi-formal dress too for my niece's debut. Thx in advance!

Check out the stores at Bugis too. Bought a nice semi-formal dress last time for only $12 š
