Would anyone be so kind to share where I can find a good tuition centre or tutor for my P6 son to improve his composition and comprehension writing .

My son is also going to PEPS next year as his brother is already there since 2013. We choose the school as the results in this school have been the best in BB area from what we understand. We’ve also seen significant progress in all subjects and his primary 2 results have pass the 90% mark. So far we are happy with his teachers and school activities, most important they’re very strong in character building and my son have learned a lot from this school. Well done PEPS !

My son 8 years old , took a one month trial lesson recently for Chinese lesson. The lessons are conducted twice a week for an hour and half if I remember correctly. I must said there are both positive and negative side to this. First the Pros - 1)my son enjoys and look forward to the class, 2)we get to select the time slots, 3) no worries about the tutor misbehaving with our kids as heard in news about cases of molesting by tutors, 4) parents can stay by side to monitor their children during lesson,5)there is lots of 2 way conversation which I like as this can improve my child skills in conversing in mandarin, 6) no travelling between classes and the price is affordable 7) lessons materials are given in advance…Now the Cons - 1) Child tends to be too relax and may walk away from the screen, 2) Noises at home can be a distraction , especially if there are other sliding around … seems there are more advantages. I would recommend parents to consider this form of tuition. Cheers.
