Thanks MLJ! By the way, the 3-5 pm timing is at which branch? And I heard that the prog is available for non TAS students right, cos my nephew wants to come as well.

Yes, grammar rocks is for non-TAS students.

But just be mindful that this is a community service from a church so there likely will be bible sharing etc - in case one may not be comfy.

      Hi hquek,

Thanks. I am fine with it but thanks for the information as well. 😄

    • RE: All About Supplements for Children

      Hi parents,

My youngest refuses to take cod liver old and compared to my older one, he is always getting sick. Anyone knows how to get your child to take cod liver oil if they hate the smell?

      Hi parents,

Anyone knows the timing for the Grammar Rocks program, the TAS community service one? I lost the letter that TAS gave out. My kids have been bugging me to send them for the program and I only remember that they have one on friday but forgot the timing.

I find the challenge in finding a good centre is that not every child is the same. Sometimes what worked for one does not work for another. My niece used to go to a renowned centre and did very well but it did not work for my kids.

Now I am trying out TAS and so far, I find them good. However, I find that one of my child can catch their techniques faster, one of them still seems ‘blur blur’. Sigh…sometimes, I wish there is a ‘magic’ solution to help and esp now as I realise that the exam papers keep getting harder.

I also agree with Cinman, uni qualifications are not that important for pri school tuition. Actually for TAS, one reason I like them is the teachers are really passionate and they even offer extra help if needed, just that sometimes maybe (like for one of my kids, they may be too slow to catch up with the syllabus)

      Hi TAS,

Thank you for the bookfair yesterday. Your teachers really knew the storybooks very well and could introduce and excite my kid about the books. The composition that you gave to show us how to use the phrases from storybooks was excellent. I now know how to use the storybook phrases for a composition. :celebrate:

      Hi N.Lo,

Great to hear that the composition helped you. Hope your child
has a great time with the books 😄

      TAS

      Hi,

Is this composition given once you buy a book from TAS?

      Hi TAS,

The books you recommended look interesting, would they be on sale at the sunday bookfair?

      Hi,

Both my sons also have this problem. They use Head & Shoulders and Clear Shampoo and it goes away. You may want to try DHA-Ketozole. You can get it from Guardian. It will go off when they are bigger.
But does it make their hair dry?
