      Too little is known or revealed for the general public to make a fair and sound judgement.

        Maybe the parents need to go to court to get details revealed. But if the parents don't like what they hear, can they then storm out of court? :scratchhead:

          Isn't it sad that the parents can't get the truth from their own son?

                Isn't it sad to have to go to court to hear from a person who is still alive?

                  Quite a few things don't seem to click in this story:

                  - an undergrad tolerating a meagre pay for such a long time;
                  - parents having to stand up for a 29-yo adult;
                  - the victim clearly not defending himself upon being hit.
                  - ...

                  I agree that there is too little for anyone to assess the full situation.

                    settle main issue first…the person who abused.

                    Not just a sorry. Hello, gotta be fair right? Maid gets abused, employer’s face splashed in ST.

                        Just read asiaone.

                        The victim was not allowed to leave because he had a lot of projects…for $500, it is indeed cheap and good labour for the company…it seems 2 other female interns suffered under the culprit’s supervision.
