We want to go to a nearby beach resort. Thinking of Langkawi.
Langkawi is good. Rent a car there, around RM50 - 60 per day. Easy drive without GPS, not much cars.
Educational for kids. Will see chickens, buffalo, monkeys along the way. Go island hopping, Oriental village/cable car, Kuah town, pasar malam (kuah town) and etc.
Very relaxing. Do not expect it to be as happening as Phuket. Langkawi more laid-back and Kampong. -

Check out the Tanjung Rhu Resort at Langkawi. It is fantastic. Everyone who saw my photos couldn't believe that it was Malaysia. It is not cheap but worth the money spent, especially their all-inclusive package.
DH and I thinking of going Russia in July, just the 2 of us :xedfingers: , and year end for our annual family trip, we are planning to go Hanoi, Sapa and Halong with our extended family. :imcool: -
Short holiday in June - We are going on a road trip to Khao Yai/Wang Nam Khiao, the so called "Switerland of the East" by the Thai. Widely known as the Cool-climate town, abound with mountain ranges, plenty waterfalls, several fruit orchards and vineyards. 2 hours drive from BKK.

Was planning to drive to trengganu this month but was advised to avoid due to the GE going on … so think maybe will just head to bintan 1st then GE over then drive up there …must go while it is in season hahaha
as for long haul trip still cant make up our mind … -
Heading to Korea or Us for the upcoming june holidays !
Hopefully can head to Korea as they might go to war :(! -

more interesting places : Thekkady (wild-life, tree-house, boating), Munnar (hill resort), Kochi - boating, visit heritage places, elephant camp, water theme park etc...Adventure holidays also there for families /kids...There are Star hotels everywhere.....Kerala is clean, safe & peaceful too. -
