On balloting day itself (example: phase 2c, can be anytime after 1 august to 6 August 2013) :-
Once balloting start, The names of those children that had been called out aloud by the p1 on duty registration officers - will be recorded instantly, on the spot.
There is an empty white notice board, ready for balloting.
As the name of each child is being called out aloud slowly one by one (in some schools, luck is drawn or determined by \"toto\" balls dropping out of the cage one by one in front of seated nail-biting anxious parents praying hard in their hearts, in other schools still by the old fashion white balloting slips of small folded up paper) - indicating this child is successfully balloted in, immediately the name of this child will be hung upon a white notice board.
After the entire balloting process end -
those names of children hung on the white board indicate successful balloting in! Congratulations ! P1 registration officers will then issue out the necessary p1 registration forms on the spot - only to this successful group of parents to fill Up forms. After parents complete filling in the forms, parents will submit forms back to the p1 balloting officer on the spot, the very same day. The officer will collate back the forms for processing, and update into their school database.
There'll be mixed reaction from parents, at the scene.
Some squeal in delight, upon hearing the name of their child being called out, or upon hearing their lucky toto number being drawn. The toto number that's been assigned is linked to the name of each and every child. Some jump with joy and start to hug their friends/ relatives who came to give them support. Some busy SMS loved ones/ relatives outcome of the balloting.
After entire p1 registration end in August -
Sometime in late september / October, schools will inform parents that their child have been successfully & formally enrolled into the school. Details of orientation letter, how to contact school bus operator, where to buy school uniform, textbooks - will be sent out to parents, through letters. -

When you register with a school, you fill in a registration form that has carbon copies. In the event that your child is successful during balloting, one of the carbon copies will be sent to you via mail. There is no other form to fill up immediately after balloting. It doesn't matter whether you are present for the balloting or not. -

Hi,
My girl is also registering for P1 this year and I would like to find out the following which I notice less talk about...
What happen if in the event the child do not get a place in 2C?
It is correct to say some school will have 2cs and not all?
If failed to get in under 2c, possible to apply again under 2cs?
If a child doesn't get a place in a school be it under 2c or 2cs, what will happen at 3?
TIA -

TIA[/quote]You are correct, not all schools will have P2Cs.
If you are not successful in P2C, you can register at a school with vacancies in P2Cs. At the end of each phase, MOE will update the available vacancies for each school.
If still unsuccessful at P2Cs, the procedure will repeat for Phase 3. The difference is that if still unsuccessful at Phases 3, you will have to register at whatever schools that have vacancies after Phase 3 and it will be first-come-first serve basis.
Here's the link to the various phases of P1 registration

But am I correct to say that for schools that need to ballot at phase 2c, there won’t be phase 2cs, as P2cs are leftover place from p2c.
