You need to call up the school to inquire in detail breakdown by (citizhenship & by distance) yourself, ie. if you can get thru the phone line successfully.

Sometimes you can get frustrated, bec phone line keep engaged. Many parents dialing in.

better still -
station one of you (either you or spouse) physically at the school premises for live update, every half hour, ESP on the last day, of each phase. Hang around the p1 Regn officer for live update, every now & then.

All registration must be done by 4.30 pm closing time.

So if register on the last day is the best bet?

For those with the intention of withdrawal from earlier phase if condition is favorable and re-apply at phase 2c -

Best to wait until last day, see the final numbers by (citizenship + distance), know whether got any chance or not, then decide.
If condition not favorable - stay put/ remain, don’t withdraw.

But for those with no intention to withdraw, then can just apply on any day, within that particular phase.

Hi, My son is in long term visa, going next year to P1, I stay at YewTee, which school will be available in Phase 3, need a good school, pls suggest.

It's highly unlikely there is any \"good school\" left for Phase 3. The vacancies would be taken up by end of phase 2C. Even PRs don't have chance if there is any balloting. You should plan early and not forget to look at some international schools.

for online registration, need both parents to login using singpass ? how come need both? if register in school also need both parents? i tot only one parent go will do ??

1) Estimate your competition for the P1 registration using PopulationQuery feature.

2) Estimate the distance from the school to your residential address using the SchoolQuery feature.

The use of PopulationQuery is not accurate due to the fact that distance is not a factor that Singaporean would consider when it comes to school registration and the system is not able to breakdown by specify age.

but I don't think RC approach is easier than PV. May want to check out the grassroots thread. most think that it is not easy as you need to be active n served at least 1 yr to receive the letter from chairperson. For onsite registration, both parents' original I/Cs are required. One parent can go to register but need both parents' I/Cs. I guess the same principle applies to online registration. In place of 2 original I/Cs, need both parents' SingPass
