See if can get in Phase 2c, cannot I will try appeal MP. But then must have very solid reason why. I don't know if it works but I will give it a try if Phase 2c fail for me.
Do share your experience if you have to appeal to MP. -
Must get a powerful, heavy weight mp to help you draft the appeal letter. Like in that case you mention, perhaps via genuine compassion ground may work.

I'm quite hopeful that my child will get in phase 2C but my hubby was saying don't count your chickens before they are hatched. In the case that I really need to seek MP help, I will look for 2 MPs, the one in my ward and the one in the grandparent's ward because I'm using statutory declaration. This is my last resort. Hopefully I do not need to go through all these troubles.sembgal:

Election is coming in 2 years time. I think now is a good time to seek MP's help. If MP can really help to appeal based on genuine reasons, anyone will support the MP all the way.
No need to do volunteer work still can get MP's help to appeal, hehe, either I'm daydreaming or a dream to be fulfilled. Let's wait and see. -

Henry Park at phase 2A2 last yr was 73. There was 2 withdrawal from 2A2 and these 2 places go to Phase 2C.Tigermom1999:
my dd qualifies for 2A2 as my ds already passed out and in RI. was not worried till 2 months back but now am worried about balloting. we are Singaporean citizens and have been living close to hpps ( within 1 km) as our Ds was a student there. what will be my chances. am really worried
Last year (2012) Henry park:-
Phase 2a(1) : 51
Phase 2a(2): 75
Refer

This year (2013):-
Phase 2a(1): 62
Remaining vacancies : 74
If phase 2a(2) registered exceed 74 on 16 July, then phase 2a(2) will enter balloting. Going by distance, since you stay less than 1 km and sc -
You should be safer, compared to those staying outside 1 km, or outside 2 km.
Pray that it will not exceed 74. Then every 2a(2) member will go in. -

the networking thread is well, for networking.
ahem, seriously, different networking threads for the different schools have got different dynamics. some are quite quiet, some bustling with activities. u may voice questions, about school timetable, school bus, teachers, etc etc. or share your thoughts.
