      mother777:
Flock can be used for both birds and hoved animals which move in groups. So it can be used for sheep

But herd is only used for group of animals..and humans..
So I feel herd of sheep is more apt.

As such both can be used, not sure which one the teacher approves of as correct answer.

Did your child check with teacher?
The correct answer from the sch is flock! My DS answered herd:(
      I would agrees both acceptable.

Both should be accceptable, thought 'flock' is probably more common for sheep. I dislike having to 2nd-guess the teacher - this is just a bad question.

Anyone’s dc took the ICAS creative writing today? I sent my dd for it without knowing what it is all about… The first thing she told me was… " There was no picture!"

Yes, that's right. There were no picture. They were asked to write an article.

                  Hi,

Can any one recommend good book for P3 English Oral - Stimulus based conversation…?
I think now p3 students don’t have to describe the given picture?
so what is expected in oral?
                  pl help.
                  Thnx.

School will prepare them. Ask teacher if she will prepare sample oral practice paper to revise with her class.

                        Hi

Does any parents have the answer sheets for the English assessment Grammar & Vocabulary worksheets from EPH P3 (the blue colour book) somehow I had misplaced it. Don’t mind to upload it.
                        Thanks
