There’s this chinese clinic near kembangan mrt (Yu Guo clinic tel 64474761) which is highly recommended by my friend. I brought my dd (6 yrs old) who was sick every month. This clinic does massages (even for 2 mth old babies) and prescribe chinese powder and liquid medicine. Each massage session (abt 20 -30 min) and medicine for 4 days cost $45; and this is a long term "therapy". My dd went there once a week for 3 months already and she had stayed "non sick" during this whole period !!
She has just started P1 this yr and we have to see how to fit in her schedule. Seems like she needs to go for her massage + medicine for another 6 mths or so. Met many parents with young babies and kids who have been there for mths or even yrs - so the chinese way is tedious as they tend to slowly "adjust" the qi or immunity system. We have to wait for abt 2 hrs during weekdays so it’s quite time consuming and costly. You may want to call them up and check. Btw, the chinese physician said air-con is a no-no as well as food like egg white, prawn, bird’s nest and cooling fruits like water melon and banana. -
Hi Bowie,
I used to cut big onion and leave it in the room where my girl sleeps when she has a sniffle. You may want to try and see if it helps. -
Hi Bowie,
You can try meridian therapy on her. Just by pressing on the accupressure points on her, you will be able to relieve the irritations on her nose. To know more, you can call me at 97226844 to discuss further. -
You can try Dr Liu Huei Chuan 90038258. Very nice Taiwanese lady who’s a trained Western Doc as well as tcm.
I’ve also read about onions by the bedside being good for colds. Haven’t tried it for sensitive noses but should try. -

Yes! You can take the q number in the morning or afternoon for evening consultation. But that means you have to go there twice. Time consuming too especially if you are staying far fr there. -
