      Hi,

I would like to seek advice from parents here whether an "O" level track students would have the chance to get into "IB" track if they show good results? And usually in which year would this happen?

By End of "O" level, can the boys get into CJC through affiliation? Appreciate your kind advice.

During orientation we were told that if their result is good, the boys can apply for transfer to IB for year 3 & year 5, using their sec 2 & O level result.

During orientation, they said they offer higher Chinese but it's not compulsory.

There are 8 O Level classes and 4 IP classes of around 32 students each.

The school fees + Misc fees are around $340 and $380 respectively for the O Level and IP classes.

Just to take note also that there are some generous financial assistance available for those who are enrolled in Independent schools.

Basically there would be some form of subsidy from 33% off the school fees + misc fees if your monthly gross household income is below $7200 or per capital income is less than $1800.

SJI is affiliated to CJC for the O Level track boys.

                      Hi… Sorry to intrude…

May I ask how many boys (approximately) join SJI via DSA - Academics (Math) ? How many rounds of selection do the candidates need to go through, to be finally selected (eg. GAT, Math Test, Interview etc) ?

Is it very difficult to join SJI via DSA Academics, perhaps due to very limited vacancies set aside for each domain/subject ?

                      Thanks…

Not sure if some of the queries are answered at the SJI website on DSA.
