Thanks for sharing. I didn't follow the earlier threads so I am not sure if you are a parent of a SJI boy. If you do have, how do you find the school so far and is your kid happy to be there? tks

My DS will be going to SJI next year. I got those responses from ex-SJI boys, my guess is if they love their school so much means they are happy there Let's wait for some kind parents of current SJI boys for their comments.

Can someone share with me your school football cca team? Does the cca require to stay back very frequent per week? Does this football cca require someone to be in pri school team then able to join? If one plays well, can he join?

My DS is good in soccer but his pri school doesn’t have cca soccer. He is interested to select sec school having football/soccer as cca.

So I have hoping to get some feedback. Thanks for sharing.

Just to share with you what we did last year. My DS wanted to join Fencing club very much but he doesn't have any prior experience, knowing that the sports CCA has very limited vacancy in SJI, we enrol him to a holiday fencing program. When school started he went to the fencing trial ang thereafter put it as his first choice. He got a spot in fencing and is happily enjoying his school life in SJI.

Soccer might be more competitive if many primary school has it as CCA, hence you might want to consider getting him a coach/send for soccer lesson to brush up his skill to increase his chances of being selected. All the Best to your DS!
