Princess Elizabeth already oversubscribed for 2C and will go balloting. How much risk would u want to take if u fail in ballot you cannot go back South View alsoโ€ฆ

We are definitely not risk takers. Only heard St Anthony is oversubscribed by SC within 1km in phase 2c so far.

I registered my child for south view primary under phase 2a. I stay in Bukit batok central. If my child goes to south view, most likely my child will take school bus.

Princess Elizabeth primary is within 1km from my home, and there is a high chance we can get in during phase 2c, as SC within 1km.

So now I am really headache whether we should withdraw from south view and register my child for princess Elizabeth tomorrow.
        ...

Compared to many other parents, I think your problem is easy to solve. Monitor Princess Elizabeth's TUR tomorrow. If you are sure SC <1km will not require balloting, withdraw from SVPS and enroll in PEPS. If you are not confident of your chances in PEPS, stay put in SVPS. It's not so far away that logistics is a problem for you.

The way to do it is this. Make copies of both your NRICs. Give your hubby your original NRIC and park him in SVPS at 2pm. You will then station yourself at PEPS and monitor the situation. By 2:30pm, if you are confident there will be no balloting for SC <1km at SVPS, call your hubby to withdraw from SVPS and go to SVPS asap. In the meantime, you will get a queue number at SVPS and proceed with the registration using the copies of your NRIC, explaining that your hubby is coming with the originals very soon.

Chief, I think there is some confusing statements made.. 'SVPS' refers to South View Primary School, right?:?

Any reviews or feedbacks regarding these two schools, guys? Any suggestions or opinions are welcome!

                  Thanks in advance!
Don't give up Southview!! Their waitlist file is so thick! Thicker than you can imagine. My friend wants to transfer her son to Southview because she is relocating there next year. She asked them \"So this file is waitlist for all the levels?\" The reply she got was it was only P2 waitlist file!! Can you imagine still got other levels waitlist files?

If you have the time tomorrow you can adopt the method that Chief suggest. But be aware the Princess Elizabeth might not be any much better in stressful level as she is after all another highly sought after Sch similar to St. Anthony

                      Hi Chief Kiasu,

Thank you very much for your reply.

The reason why I hesitate is because if I take PEPS, logistic wise, it is the most convenient for us. But I also heard South View is better academic wise. I also heard South view is a quite disciplined school and gives students a lot of home works and a lot of remedial lessons. My son is a very playful boy, so I am a bit worried, if he goes to South view, he will feel quite stressful.

Wish we could know more about these two schools so that we can make a better decision.
South View Psle results academic standard better than Princess Elizabeth.

                      Stay put at South View.
                      Do not come out.
