There is no FB acct for MGPS parents. You could make use of this KSP page to reach out to fellow MGPS parents. My DD2 will be in P1 next year. You may wish to refer to a previous post on what to prepare for orientation. Feel free to PM me for any questions.

Hi, my friend has 2 girls in MGS. There is an active parent support group in MGS. You should consider joining the school PSG. My friend shared with me how it is run. My friend sent her girls for different enrichment and told me MGS parents are not like RGPS parents whose conversation revolves around comparing marks among their girls. No offence to parents with dd in RGPS.

I was just looking through FB for such pages and found that there are many closed groups of parents whose girls are already in MGS, like 2.1 2014, 2.6 2014.

My DD is also joining MGS in P1 next year.

For those driving to school using the bukit Timah road, pls note the 2 lane turning into Blackmore road in the am . This 2 lane turning is only allowed in the am. I think is between 630-730 am only.

Lol, Thanks Sembgal! Do have my far share of rgps mummies, and they are nice in general and have very interesting stories most times, I'll go check out the MGS PSG nonetheless!


Madinked- cool! There is 1 or 2 like MGS Confessions etc but none very active or updated, guess we might set up one ourselves once the girls have their classes allocated. I guess it could also be because of our Methodist culture, more reserved overall Though I did find scgs' one very updated and has a lot of interesting stuff to look through

Hi, I assume that most of the mummies here are staying near MGS. My DD will be in MGS next year and I have plans to move near the school.


Am looking at Maplewoods, The Nexus and The Cascadia etc. Any reviews on the condos near the school? Does Maplewoods has a back gate that link directly to MGS etc? Saw some negative reviews on Property Guru about Maplewoods: damp, stuffy, overcrowding, aging estate, roaches and mosquitoes problems, car park flooding etc. Is it really that bad?

Any advice is appreciated, thanks!
