CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' Secondary

Hi,
Does anyone here know what is the Good Service Award? tks -
The new JC is going to be designed by CLP Architects - the same architect that designed SMU and Gardens by the Bay. Apparently , it would have escalators and a glass 'enclosure" at the top of the building that will give a panaromic view of Bishan Park. The design of the campus blends into the park.
Also the JC will be offering all 3 prestigious program
-Music Elective Programme ( currently offered in ACJC,DHS,RI,TJC)
- Humanities Scholarship Prog ( currently in ACJC,HCI,NJC,RI,VJC,TJC)
-Bicultural Studies Prog ( currently offered in DHS, HCI, RVHS)
Seemed like MOE have already have very high expectations of the JC. -

The new Principal leading the new Junior college, for SNGS IP students in A level : Year (5 and 6), is Mdm Cheang

Actually it is quite unprecedented for a principle of a new school to be announced 2 years in advance. It is typically only one year notice for new schools -
My sil would like to send my niece to the IP program here if her soon-to-be-released PSLE result is within her expectation. However she is now quite apprehensive due to the feedback given by her colleague about SRJC principal.
Can anyone please shed some light on this principal? -

had been asking the affected schools and MOE :
who is this new Principal, going to lead the 3 heavy weight Year (5 and 6) Catholic High boys, SNGS, SCGS girls ?
The expectation of these 3 combined schools' forces, coming from both parents and pupils, is high.
After all, pupils from these 3 Heavy weight schools : are of high calibre.
And many parents are concerned how the first pioneering batch of A level candidates, will turn out.
So, MOE decided to announce earlier, 2 years ahead in advance, instead of normally 1 year notice.
SRJC has been in quiet profile.
Little is heard about this JC.
SRJC Intake is small : compared to the 3 combined schools' forces, coming on together.
Now that the P identity had been publicly disclosed by press, guess many parents are curious about her, esp. those intending to enrol their child to study A level, at this new JC.
naturally, many parents will be curious to find out more, about her past leadership style like, at Serangoon JC ?
And perhaps : including past A level performance results of Serangoon JC as well, & what kind of value-addedness she had created, introduced, or had brought to Serangoon JC, during her leadership reign in those years there officially, as a Former Principal ?
It is heartening to hear that the new JC going to have a fantastic, new infrastructure, modern designed buildings - the same architect that designed SMU and Gardens by the Bay.
This hardware part, has been well taken care of.
Now, more important is the software behind, running it.
would be great to hear first hand sharing, from Serangoon JC (pupils and parents) : about their P. -
