Yes, mine is going ...let's hope it won't rain...
Actually my child is in Y4, but she is just going there to have fun with the Y1 & Y2.

The orientation is organised by the Y2 Dance-this is RV the usual practise.
But there will be teachers there too...

My child used to attend Just Education for Chemistry and Maths during Year 1 & 2...but the grades were only Bs...

So I send her to another tutor.
This tutor was a NTU Master scholar-Charge very high...
It is also a group tuition...but he will go around to teach the students personally..lectures will be done during holidays.
This tutor ensure me that my child can get A grade ...so I tried for 1 term...
Wow really my child grades improve...
But cost me a lot of money....

I could not get tutors that can teach English in IP standard.
So I just put my child to attend JC1 GP tuition...very Kiasu right

HCL tuition is to make sure my child gets a good grade in year end National Exam...[/quote]

My 2 child one in year 1 and the other in year 5 both attending Just education. But seems like for the year 1 I have to pull him out as the topics taught is different fm RV. For the year 5, she is attending the maths lesson n she found it quite useful.

Last Year 2009 was SYF-SYF is every 2 years.
Last year RV participated in 2 dance Year 3 & Year 5.

Past Records RV always attained Gold with Honours.

But last year the YEar 3 only obtained a Gold...and all of them Cried buckets of water. 😢
But Lucky Year 5 attained Gold with Honours.

So I think the CCA teachers will start to drill the Year 2 , to participate in 2011.
By then the Year 2 will be in Year 3.

RV emphasize on their Performing Arts CCA , as the students always attain Gold...

                    Hi Dolphinsiah,

                    Thanks for sharing.
I've watched the SYF performance once. It is not easy to get gold, needless to mention about gold with honours. They have done well !

                      Hi Daisyt, Dolphinsiah, Stressy,

Any of your kids attended any tuition ? I don't think those tuitions at the centre are suitable for IP students right ? My dd achieves rather decent results for her 1st term tests so I thought I'm not going to stress her with tuition for the moment, however she has requested me to look for a tuitor to revise Science with her. Any advise ?
