By the way, we just bought 2 PE singlets from the school uniform shop in Far East. Anyone know where / how to get the PE shorts? And can someone tell me where to sew the name tag on the PE singlet? Thanks.

Hello to all, I am consider ACS for my DS next year and I have a question about the school fee. I can't find much information from the school websites, hope the parents here can help me out.

Fees from 2015 onwards:

School fees:
Singapore Citizen - NIL
Permant Resident - $90 / month

Miscellaneous fees:
Singapore Citizen - $13 / month
Permanent Resident - $13/ month

So if you are a citizen, you are only paying like $13 / month which is actually almost free compared to what we are paying now for his kindergarten. :boogie:

The boys wear their school pants for PE.. ...
You can sew it at the back where brand tag is or at the inner bottom part of the singlet.. ...

Hi didn't know can buy the PE shirts already, was told can only buy after sch starts. Did u need to tell them the house colour?

I bought iron on labels from brightstarkids australia, they shipped direct to sg, been using it for many years for my son childcare and its good.

By the way what to bring for first day? Noticed that it was not mention. Parent handbook only mention from 5 Jan for first week. But 2 Jan not mentioned?

I’m a parent who is looking for a primary school for my son. There are some questions my son asked me about acps and I hope you could help me with answers.

a) are the children happy in school?
b) do they have friends and play together?

I think no school can promises u that your kid will be 100% happy with them. I got kids in different schs and the thing I noticed is as long as a lot of boys r together, they will sooner or later get into mischief. Compared to making friends (which depends really on the kid’s personality), I’m more concerned if playtime gets rowdy (ie rough play) but overall the acs teachers seem to be doing a good job in maintaining discipline.

Hi parents! I’m registering my son for P1 under Phase 2B and praying that the he can get in. I’m wondering how the sending and picking up work. Can I drive into the school compound? Or do I have to park somewhere else?
