I heard from dd mentioned that year 5 & 6 ends quite late but didn't know its 5pm. I guess, its time to train up them getting use to long hours. šŸ˜„

I heard there are different categories of CCA for year 5 & 6, different from 1 to 4. Eg. there is photography club for 5 & 6 only. What are the other CCAs?

I like the new time table for my ds in year 1, ends earlier at 130pm but my dd in year 5 still ends at 5pm and her cca on wed even ends at 7pm.

Year 5 ends at 5pm everyday ? :!: wow that's very long hours.
So their CCA is from 5pm to 7pm ? That's very tiring. šŸ˜ž
        Is CCA compulsary for year 5 & 6 ?

I heard from my child that Y5 & 6 they are allow to drop or change CCA.
But the student Portfolio will not be so nice without CCA when they apply for U right....

oh yeah, that's right. It is so competitive nowadays... they'll need CCA, CIP and lots of other additional profile in addition to their straight As before they can get into those popular courses they want in uni. Not easy at all.

For year 5&6 they end at 5pm bcos in btwn they hv alot of free periods.
They hv to attend lecture where all classes meet each other in the theatre depend on their sub combi. thus tis drag the time longer in sch. CCA for year 5 is on wed and it starts at 230pm n my dd normally ends at 7pm.

hi stressy, you mean the school would ask them to subscribe or you subscibe on your own?

                    Is this the one?
                    http://www.school-of-thought.com/magazine.html

                    They have two magazines,
PresentPerfect is recommended for 13 to 16 year olds, while BroaderPerspectives is recommended for 17 to 21 year olds.

:!: OMG Seem that Y5 & Y6 is going to be a tough ride...
Furthermore I think this year RV Y6 is the first batch doing the A Levels through IP program...the whole school is putting a lot of effort to ensure this first batch of Y6 attains good grades šŸ™
