Thanks FantasyLandDreams, bebe and dancing star for your reply. I finally manage to get my daughter enrolled into the existing batch which the new term will begin this week in Canberra CC. Though the timing is not really ideal for me and my daughter, but that's the best option right now for us :rahrah:

Surprising that you can enrol your dd so easily into the Canberra one. That used to have long waiting list but seemed that a lot withdrew to learn elsewhere. Hang around and you will know if you should stick there or leave.

          Hi all,

My DD is currently P1 and she has join the Dancepointe's Junior Apprentice Programme. Last year she had Jazz, Classical and summer school; she dance about 5hr a day. Other than the muscle cramp she had, she enjoyed the whole course and able to cope with the training. However, I'm not sure if she can cope with this year school & dance as she has more thing to study compare to last year (She was K2). She don't have other commitment other than dance.

She wanna join, so I just let her walk her path. As long as she is happy with her passion, I will support her.
The only thing that worried me is I don't have enough money need to support her passion. lol. 😂
She is very excited with the new class. I have pre-empt her that she will have total of 3hr (3 classes) over the weekend.
So far, she said she's fine with it.

Can ballet use as a DSA to go to Secondary School or is there any Secondary School offers ballet as CCA?

              SCGS and MGS

Suppose a child (born 2007) manage to pass the coming 2015 April RAD G1 ballet exam.

Suppose she no time to sit for next year : 2016 G2 exam, because very busy.

                Come 2017 -
can she take G3 exam, or only take G2 exam -
since she did not sit for G2 exam, earlier ?
                Thanks, for clarification.

Yes there is this boy that is in my Dd's ballet school. He should be in Grade 1 this year. I remembered him because he is not local and he is always the male lead in all their performance.

Ballet is very much like piano... you can skip grades. So even if the kid does not take G2 exam, she can proceed to take G3 exam. As long as the ballet teacher assesses the kid as ready for G3. My DD did not take G1, and proceed on to take G2 the next year.
