hi there,
I want to check when is the usual period the PV notice is out for Hong Wen Primary school. My son is going to P1 in 2017 and wishes to register to PV for Hong Wen.
Also do we still need to go thru' ballot if we done sufficient PV?
Thanks in advance.
 You are way too late to ask this this question now .... PV application should have completed not later 1 July 2015, and at least 40 hours of PV needs to be completed by June of the application year (i.e June 2016 for your case).
Yes balloting is still required if the numbers of applicants are more than vacancies
my mistake. my boy is going to P1 in 2018. Still in time for PV?
When is Hong Wen launch their PV application?
TIA -
Hi Airyair
For 2015 P1 Registration Exercise for Admission to Primary 1 in 2016: Application no later than 30 June 2014.
So if I did my math correctly.
For 2017 P1 Registration Exercise for Admission to Primary 1 in 2018: Application no later than 30 June 2016.

Please call school to confirm. Good luck. -

I think HWS upped the hours required to complete (had idea it was 60 hours, not 40). I do see some new PVs on the job these days in HWS. Call the school and register soon.

BTW, do note that these few years, one would have to stay within 1km for phase 2B to be assured. Those staying 1-2km MAY have to ballot, recall one year when those staying outside 2km didn't have chance to ballot even. -

Hello mummies, has anyone signed up for pv with rgps? I have went for my interview last week and wonder how long do they take to get back on the confirmation.

Hi,
Weโve been staying with my MIL at Hougang (1-2km from CHIJ) since marriage but our address on IC is Punggol (our weekend house within 1km from Punggol Green Pri). My MIL has been the main caregiver for my girl since she was born but 2yrs ago she had a stroke. Now she relies on helper to move around. We hope to continue staying with her at her house as we do not prefer sending her to a student care.
1) Do you think chances are high to get in CHIJ OLN if I do PV?
2) Will MOE accept our SD despite my MILโs physical disability?
3) Should we move back to Punggol to stay on our own and leave my girl at student care in Punggol Green Pri?
Thanks. -
Just to share that I have received my acceptance for PV in Rgps. Really grateful for this.

Hi, does anyone knows if there is a rule that we canโt do pv for 2 different schools at the same time?
Thanks in advance!
