Have another noob question...if we try to register in Phase 2B in School X but unsuccessful in that phase, do we have to withdraw from School X before going to Phase 2C at School Y?

then there is nothing to withdraw from.
Just proceed on to phase 2C.

By my calculation, Nan Chiau is only 21st on the list of
schools with highest TUR after first day.

But take note that today is still phase 1 registration,

but phase 1 - 260 so 123 divided by 260 = 47.3%
they will still have 40 seats for 2B and 2C to fight -

They only need to set aside 20 seats for Phase 2B & 2C each. Total 40 seats, which is equivalent to only 13.33% based on a total of 300 seats.ptb7476:
